Boat rope or marine rope
Safely mooring, anchoring and protecting your boat starts with the right boat rope. This collection features ready-made boat or marine rope for recreational boating: anchor lines, mooring lines and fender lines in 3-strand twisted rope. Each type of boat rope has its own purpose:
- Anchor line or anchor rope connects the anchor to the boat. They are fitted with a stainless steel thimble.
- Mooring line, dock line or pier line secures the boat to a quay, jetty or mooring post. They are supplied with a loop at one end.
- Fender line, fender rope or fender line keeps the fenders at the correct height, protecting the hull. They are supplied with a loop at one end.
The boat lines are available in PP multifilament and polyester. PP multifilament is lightweight, flexible and floats. Polyester is strong, UV-resistant and sinks. Each line is ready to use and suitable for launches and boats on inland waters, and the 12 mm anchor line is also suitable for coastal use.
