Description
This FenceTech electric fence cord is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with conductive stainless steel and tinned copper wires. The shock cord is highly resistant to weather changes and wear and tear, guaranteeing a very high breaking strength, extreme UV resistance, and a very long lifespan. Due to its low resistance, this electric shock cord is ideal for long pasture distances and very long fences.
This 2,5 mm electric wire is an ideal conductor for electric fencing for very long fences of up to 4.500 metres and large meadows. It's ideal for farmers and horticulturists, riding schools, and nature management. It has versatile applications as a permanent or mobile fence; temporary fencing for paddocks, grazing areas, or rotational grazing areas; and for deterring wildlife or keeping (hobby) animals.
- HDPE monofilament – the best protection against moisture and UV radiation with 5 years UV protection
- Highly tensile and wear-resistant round polyethylene wire – for years of use
- Only 0.40 Ohm/m resistance – very good wire resistance
- 6 conductors – 5x0.2mm stainless steel wires and 1x0.25mm tinned copper wires provide excellent conductivity
- Very high breaking strength of 110 kg – flexible yet strong, does not break easily under tension or wind load
- Highly visible to animals due to contrasting color stripes
- For long fences – fencing up to a maximum length of 4500 m
- For safe separation on large pastures of horses, sheep and cows or hobby animals such as goats, ponies, alpacas and donkeys
- Compatible with all common electric fence devices
- Easy to install on insulators, posts and gates
- Safe animal handling without physical harm
