    Description

    This FenceTech electric fence cord is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with conductive stainless steel wires. The shock cord is highly resistant to weather changes and wear and tear, guaranteeing a very high breaking strength, extreme UV resistance, and a very long lifespan.

    This 2,5 mm electric wire is an ideal conductor for electric fencing in medium-sized fences and small to medium-sized meadows. It's ideal for farmers and horticulturists, riding schools, and nature management. It has versatile applications as a permanent or mobile fence; temporary fencing for paddocks, grazing areas, or rotational grazing areas; and for deterring wildlife or keeping (hobby) animals.

    Important information

    • Not suitable for large fencing of more than 500 m in length – use FenceTech 5 mm for this.
    • Check regularly for wear, knots or breaks that could reduce conductivity
    • Always mount the cord on specific insulators for electric shock cords, not on standard posts.
    • Avoid metal-to-metal contact to prevent loss of conductivity
    • Use only in combination with a suitable electric fence device that complies with applicable safety standards.
    • Ensure proper grounding of the installation — essential for effective current impulse
    • Always turn off the power before performing any maintenance or adjustments
