    Description

    Braided polyester rope 10mm: exceptional strength, dimensional stability and abrasion resistance, suitable for professional and recreational use. Smooth, compact and durable. Polyester is very weather-resistant. Popular in construction, gardening, industry, water sports, transport, recreation, sports and DIY. Used for sailing, hoisting, tow cables, equestrian sports, camping and securing materials.

    • Absorbs moisture but does not rot, shrink or stiffen
    • Wet rope has the same breaking strength as dry rope

    Important information

    • Sinks in water – absorbs moisture but retains strength
    • Non-elastic – no stretch, remains taut under tension
    • Do not use above the maximum working load (recommended 1/10th of breaking strength)
    • Check regularly for fraying, knots or wear
    • Do not use if there are signs of wear – risk of breakage
    • Damaged and knotted rope affects the breaking strength
    • Moving loads require higher breaking strength than static loads
    • Not suitable for lifting or climbing
    • Not suitable for use in alkali-resistant applications
